The Wall of Honor induction ceremony will take place on September 18th, at half time of the Dumas-Palo Duro Football game. This year’s inductees: Kenneth Williams, from the class of 1963; Glenn Bonner, from the class of 1968; Steve Burks, from the class of 1968; and Ronnie McInturff, also from the class of 1968.

This year’s ceremony holds a profound historical weight, as it spotlights athletes from a truly legendary decade in Dumas Demon football. Inductee Kenneth Williams, representing the Class of 1963, came of age during the program's most celebrated era. He played an integral role during the back-to-back 1961 and 1962 Class AAA State Championship seasons, helping establish a standard of excellence that would define the Demons for generations.
The Class of 1968 trio—Glenn Bonner, Steve Burks, and Ronnie McInturff—carried that proud tradition forward. These three men anchored the team during the late 1960s, embodying the physical toughness and grit that Texas Panhandle football is known for. Notably, Ronnie McInturff’s relentless performance on the field earned him prestigious All-State Defensive End honors before he took his talents to the collegiate level with Oklahoma State. Alongside standout teammates Bonner and Burks, this class of 1968 ensured that the Demons remained a formidable powerhouse under the Friday night lights.
