The Secure status placed on all campuses has been lifted. All school operations have returned to normal. Thank you all for your understanding!
Local law enforcement is looking for an individual in the community. Out of an abundance of caution, Dumas ISD has placed all campuses in secure. During Secure, all doors are locked, and no one can leave or enter the building. Campus operations are proceeding as normal within the building. Again, this is a precaution to ensure the safety of our staff and students.
Update for Tuesday: Regular classes at Dumas ISD. Xcel reports no planned outages for us. In case of unexpected power issues, we’ll dismiss during the day. We appreciate your understanding—stay safe!
EARLY DISMISSAL NOTICE – Friday, January 23
Due to the projected winter storm and deteriorating travel conditions expected tomorrow afternoon, Dumas ISD will have an early dismissal, Friday, January 23.
The dismissal schedule is as follows: 🚌 Students: 1:00 PM 🚗 Staff: 1:45 PM
Please make arrangements for student pick-up and supervision.
We encourage all students, staff, and families to travel safely as the weather moves in. Please stay tuned to our official channels for any further updates regarding weekend activities.
