Dumas North would like to take a moment and celebrate our very own 3rd Grade teacher, Heather Norris! Heather was honored at the Region 16 Teacher of the Year Banquet as in May she was awarded the Dumas ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year. Dumas North quiere dedicar un momento a celebrar a nuestra maestra de tercer grado, Heather Norris. Heather fue homenajeada en el Banquete de la Maestra del Año de la Región 16, ya que en mayo recibió el premio a la Maestra de Primaria del Año del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Dumas.

REMINDER that EVERY FRIDAY is a Free Dumas Spirit T-Shirt Day in DISD. Here is a friendly reminder of what is and is not considered a Friday Spirit T-Shirt.

Here are some friendly reminders of Dumas North's Dismissal procedures and the dismissal locations for each of the grade levels. At 3:45, students with younger siblings will be dismissed and directed to go to their younger sibling's pick up location so allow parents to pick up the students in one location.

With the 25-26 school year starting tomorrow, Dumas North would like to share a few tips for morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal. Larger versions of these maps can be found on the DISD website.

As Dumas North is preparing for the first day of school next week, we would like to send out a reminder about student dress code. It is the same dress code as last year. The dress code can be found in the Elementary Student Handbook.
