IMPORTANT REMINDER Remember to bring your schedule with you on the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IMPORTANT TIP Write your schedule down on Notebook paper several times and put them in a notebook in case you lose your schedule.

Dumas Intermediate School What you need to know 1. 7:30 AM - Front Doors open & Doors by the Gym open. Do not drive into the parking lot by the Gym. It is for busses only. 2. 7:55 AM - Students are released to go to class 3. 8:00 - 8:10 AM - Students will receive Breakfast in their classroom Students are counted tardy if they are not in the classroom. 4. 8:05 AM - Morning Announcements 5. 8:30 - Student will be considered absent. Attendance is taken EVERY class period 6. Parent Portal Please check Grades and attendance on the Parent Portal (If you don't have your students Portal ID, please come by the office). 7. Pick Up/Drop Off Please DO pick up & drop offs in front of the school (east side) or at the crosswalks on 5th Street (south side of the school). Please DO NOT use the Staff parking lot or the Bus parking lot by the Gym for pick ups or drop offs. Please keep our children safe and please be kind to our Crossing Guards!

ATTENTION: ALL PARENTS If you used My School Bucks last year, then you can still use it this year. Before the first day of school, please check your student's account to make sure they have money in their account to start the year without the worry of keeping up with their lunch money. If you did not use it last year, then you can sign up and start using it. Enrolling for a My School Bucks account Go to My School Bucks and register for an account. Activate your account and add students. You will need your student's name and school ID number. Provide your credit or debit card information if you decide to make an online payment. If you have any further questions, please visit My School Bucks and select the Help/FAQ link. If you need assistance with the enrollment process, please call MySchoolBucks Customer Support at 1-855-832-5226.

If your child got shots recently, please bring your immunization record with you August 12 when you pick up schedule. Please show it to our Nurse, Mrs. West

Dumas Intermediate School Dress Code Dear Families, We want to make sure you were aware that the Dress Code Policy gets stricter as your child moves up through our district. At Dumas Intermediate: Students may not have any holes or frays in their clothing. Collared shirts must be worn at ALL times -even when wearing a hoodie with a zipper. If the Hoodie does not zip then it does NOT need a collared shirt No Tights - if leggings are worn they must wear shorts or a skirt that goes to their knees.
